Corey Perry and captain Ryan Getzlaf each had a goal and two assists, and the Anaheim Ducks snapped their four-game home skid with a 6-2 victory over the Florida Panthers on Sunday night. "We had the puck and didnt turn it over too much. We played with the puck and found each other. Everybody was moving," said Perry, who notched his team-leading 37th goal of the season to give the Ducks a 5-2 lead at the 11:56 mark of the second period. Getzlaf agreed. "We got back to doing what we need to be doing," said Getzlaf, who is second in the NHL in scoring with 79 points. "We find a way to get open and get shots. Tonight, we clicked better." Teemu Selanne, Jakob Silfverberg, Kyle Palmieri and Perry scored during Anaheims four-goal second period. "I feel re-energized," said Selanne, who recently has been teamed with Getzlaf and Perry. "Today we were really clicking and reading each other well. The more time we spend together, the more youre going to learn from one another. It was fun to play with those guys. Theyre so dangerous and talented, so you have to be ready." Patrick Maroon also scored an early goal before leaving the game with a lower-body injury for the Ducks, who pulled within one point of San Jose atop the Pacific Division standings. Selanne had a goal and an assist, while Jonas Hiller made 28 saves for Anaheim, which is four points behind Western Conference-leading St. Louis with 11 games left. Jimmy Hayes and Tomas Fleischmann scored in the second period for the Panthers, who lost the last three games on their West Coast road trip by a combined 12-3.. Ryan White Jersey. Florida goalie Dan Ellis has given up 11 goals in his last two appearances. "Its a good hockey team," Ellis said. "They are one of the top teams in the West and the West is arguably stronger than the East. Theyve had a little adversity lately, but you had to be ready for a big push out of them. They are desperate for playoff position, to get home ice. They played us hard. I needed to make some key saves at key times and I didnt." NOTES: Anaheims next eight games are against opponents currently out of the playoff picture. d was a big period to keep them in the gam

After feeling satisfied about his teams play in three losses to open the Stanley Cup final, New York Rangers coach Alain Vigneault could easily empathize with the Los Angeles Kings when the roles were reversed in Game 4. Brian Rafalski Team USA Hockey Jersey . "It was a real tough game, I think, for L.A," Vigneault said. "It was probably their best game of the playoffs that theyve played against us." And it was a loss, as the Kings failed to finish off the sweep thanks to 40 saves by Henrik Lundqvist, one by Anton Stralman and one by a combination of snow built up in the crease and Derek Stepan. That the Rangers needed so much luck and strong goaltending only underscored just how dominant Los Angeles was. Just dont tell the results-oriented Kings that. Even after players talked after wins about needing to play better, the self-criticism was turned up despite outshooting the Rangers 41-19. "At the end of the day, we werent good enough to win," captain Dustin Brown said. "Its about finding a way to be better." The chance to do that comes in Fridays Game 5 back at Staples Center in Los Angeles with the Kings still in command of the series and the Cup waiting nearby. After Game 4 at Madison Square Garden, it didnt feel as though the Kings were on the cusp of the title, like it did after they went up three games to none. All around the visiting locker-room there was talk about what areas needed to be better, from start to finish. "We still probably could play better for a full game," fourth-line centre Mike Richards said. "It took us a little bit to get into it again for whatever reason." A turnover off the opening faceoff by leading Conn Smythe Trophy candidate Drew Doughty was an inauspicious start, but the Kings still had the lions share of chances. No time was that more evident than in the third period, when the Kings shelled Lundqvist to the tune of 15 shots to New Yorks one, which didnt come until almost 13 minutes had elapsed. The puck was close to going in, but it didnt. "We had some good chances in the third," Brown said. "We have to put ourselves in better situations." While the Kings gave Lundqvist his due for stonewalling them, they put the onus on themselves to get better scoring chances moving forward in the series. Quality, not quantity. "I think we can do a better job getting to him," centre Anze Kopitar said. "I think (there) a couple of times where we didnt make it tough on him. The pucks were sitting there. But the pucks hes going to see, hes going to stop. Thats just how it is." Twice, when Stralman knocked the puck off the goal-line in the first and when Stepan swept it off with 71 seconds left in the third, Lundqvist didnt see the puck until it was almost too late. Alec Martinez couldve had a goal and then an assist on a shot deflected by Tanner Pearson, but that wasnt how things went for the Kings on Wednesday night. Doughty even called both goals against "pretty bad bounces." And while luck has appeared to define this series, the Kings arent on the verge of a second championship in three years because they rely on good fortune. "If we clean up our play, you make your own bounces at this time of year," Brown said. "We had chances that we didnt put in the back of the net." Having reached the final by coming back from a 3-0 series deficit against the San Jose Sharks and needing seven games in the other two series, the Kings know what to expect energy-wise from the Rangers on Friday night. Thats a big help. But an even bigger help would be fixing any holes that have kept the Kings from polishing things off. "We could still do some better things for a more consistent period of time," Richards said. "Well look at it. Watch some video and correct a couple of things and put our best foot forward." Justin Abdelkader Jersey . Instead, Nonis and Kessel were sorting through the fallout of a wild melee with the Buffalo Sabres, one that saw Kessel suspended for the duration of the pre-season. Cory Schneider Jersey . – The Oakland Raiders expect to have starting right tackle Tony Pashos back for Sundays game against the Houston Texans.Every night of the Stanley Cup playoffs, TSN hockey analyst and former NHL goaltender Jamie McLennan breaks down each goalies performance. Jamies number grades given are out of five, with five being the best mark. Jonathan Quick, Los Angeles Kings (5) - It wasnt a busy start for Quick, but he made a great blocker save on Martin St. Louis and a big right-pad save on Rick Nash. He faced three scoring chances that period and was really good on his post play early on against Mats Zuccarello and Nash. The first goal, he had no chance on the backdoor power play goal. On the Dan Boyle goal, he overplayed the shot a bit, although, it tipped off Drew Doughtys stick. He only faced three shots in the third period and made one big save on Boyle, but really, he wasnt tested at all. Overtime is where Quick stepped up. He got some luck from a post by Ryan McDonagh, but made big saves on St. Louis and none bigger then stopping Chris Kreider on a breakaway with 30 seconds left. The second overtime period was much of the same. He had a post on a deflection on the penalty kill and made a huge right-pad save. He fought the puck off with a left-pad save three minutes before the game winner. Quick faced 19 scoring chances in the game out of 30 shots and won his second Cup in three years. He faced a total of 146 shotss in the series with 85 quality scoring chances. Ryan Miller Team USA Hockey Jersey. No one can dispute this guy is a gamer and a winner. Henrik Lundqvist, New York Rangers (5) - He was good early on and made a huge pad save three minutes into game on a deflection. The first goal against was a scramble that Justin Williams jammed in through traffic. Lundqvist faced three scoring chances that period, as well. In the second, he made a good paddle save on Jarret Stoll, good saves on Kyle Clifford and was real good with his puck-handling to help the Rangers get out of their zone. The third was a big period to keep them in the game where he faced five good scoring chances and was huge that period. In first overtime, he made two huge saves on williams with the left pad and Tyler Tofolli hit the crossbar, but Lundqvist continued to battle for his team. In the second overtime, Jeff Carter hits a post 45 seconds in and then Lundqvist made a good save on Doughty. The game-winning goal was a rebound to Alec Martinez, who is wide open at the backdoor. Frankly, Lundqvist was the only reason the series wasnt a sweep. He gave the Rangers a chance to win every night and faced a total of 194 shots, including 86 quality scoring chances. If people didnt respect or realize how hard he worked in the net and competed, they certainly do now. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

DENVER - The Toronto Maple Leafs filed into their locker room after the first period and saw Daniel Winnik walking around and feeling fine. Jerry Rice Jersey .That sight softened the blow of what ended up as a 4-3 shootout loss to the Colorado Avalanche on Thursday night.Knowing their teammate was fine after a scary headfirst fall in the opening minute of the game helped calm the Maple Leafs. They rallied to tie the score late but Colorados three shooters scored in the shootout to end a three-game losing streak. He was in the room when we come off the ice, Toronto coach Randy Carlyle said. He was walking around, hes fine. Its one of those situations where youre expecting a lot worse and he isnt any worse for wear.Alex Tanguay also scored in regulation and had the decisive goal in the shootout. Nathan MacKinnon had the other shootout goal and Nick Holden scored his first goal of the season. We wanted it tonight. We need to want it more than the other team, said Matt Duchene, who had one of the shootout goals to go with one in regulation. Thats what we did last year. Its been tough at times this year, thats when you really have to be a man and step up and make it happen.Reto Berra had 33 saves through overtime in his first start in six games. Its an important win for us. We had a great game, an outstanding start of the game, coach Patrick Roy said. We were outstanding with 12 shots in the first 10 minutes. Plenty of good chances and looks at the net and their goalie had plenty of good saves. That was overshadowed by Winniks injury suffered when he collided with Avalanche defenceman Jan Hejda near the Colorado blue line. He fell awkwardly on the right side of his head and shoulder and flipped onto his front. He lay motionless while trainers from both teams secured him on a backboard and took him off the ice.The team reported on Twitter that Winnik was alert and moving all of his extremities while being examined by the team doctor. The team said Winnik was not transported to the hospital but he did not return. That was one of the most scary things Ive been a part of and watched live, Toronto defenceman Dion Phaneuf said. Anytime a teammate gets hurt its something that effects you, but when you see the stretcher come out and hes motionless thats something you dont want to go through as a team. Were really happy to see him up walking around and he seems to be fine.Tyler Bozak scored in regulation and had Torontos only goal in the shootout. Phil Kessel and Richard Panik also scored for the Maple Leafs.Duchene gave Colorado a 3-2 lead with a wraparound goal at 11:45 of the third. Toronto pulled goalie Jonathan Bernier with 1:29 left and Panik scored 16 seconds later on a shot off defenceman Nate Guenins skate to send it to overtime.Bernier finished with 31 saves. It seems like thats our luck this year, Duchene said. We do so much to score and we cant get anything to go, we only get a few to go and they pull the goalie and we have guys in great position and it hits (Guenins skate) and goes in. It was going four feet wide.Winniks injury came immediately after Holden scored 31 seconds into the game to give the Avalanche an early lead for the second straight game.Toronto was able to overcome Winniks injury and get back in the game. Kessel tied it with his seventh of the season when he batted a puck out of the air and past Berra with 3:40 left in the period. The next few shifts youre trying to get back into it, Phaneuf said.Bozak gave Toronto the lead when he scored a power-play goal at 4:43 of the second. Colorado had killed off 29 consecutive penalties before Bozaks tally. Tanguay responded a minute later when he got a stretch pass from Zach Redmond behind the Maple Leafs defence and beat Bernier on a breakaway.Toronto controlled play in the final minutes of the second. The Leafs nearly scored when the puck went under Berra and stopped in the crease but was lost under a pile of bodies.Toronto then held the puck in Colorados zone for nearly two minutes but couldnt score.Toronto lost defenceman Jake Gardiner later in the first when he took a puck off his right leg and missed the rest of the game. Team officials said he suffered a lower body injury. He has a deep bone bruise. Its not broken, Carlyle said. Hit him in the spot with equipment.NOTES: The NHL suspended Toronto RW Carter Ashton for 20 games without pay on Thursday after failing a drug test. Based on his salary, Ashton will forfeit $169,185. … Avalanche D Brad Stuart (hamstring) will miss at least two weeks. … Maple Leafs D Morgan Rielly was scratched. … Colorado RW Daniel Briere was a healthy scratch for the fifth straight game. Ray-Ray Armstrong Jersey . On Wednesday night, they showed that stellar defence and a little small ball can get the job done too. With pinch-runner Kevin Pillar aboard after Dioner Navarro opened the bottom of the ninth with a single, Anthony Gose dropped down an excellent bunt along the first-base line. Daniel Kilgore Jersey . The ongoing funk on penalty kill and an unusually quiet night on home ice for the power play divided the Leafs from the Bruins at the ACC in a rare Sunday night affair.WASHINGTON - Three-time Pro Bowl receiver DeSean Jackson has met for a second day with the Washington Redskins as he looks for a new team following his release by the Philadelphia Eagles. Jackson arrived Monday evening and also spent part of Tuesday meeting with coaches and officials. He left Redskins Park without the team announcing a deal. Jackson set career-highs with 82 catches for 1,332 yards last season for tthe NFC East champion Eagles, but Philadelphia tried to trade him and then cut him last week amid reports of off-the-field concerns. Brandon Fusco Jersey. Jackson issued a statement denying he was associated with gang activity. The Redskins are looking for a dynamic playmaker to add to an offence that includes Robert Griffin III, Pierre Garcon, Andre Roberts, Jordan Reed and Alfred Morris. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

his first on the year. That came in his third game this season after

PITTSBURGH – Pittsburgh Penguins coach Dan Bylsma wasnt thrilled with Scott Hartnell going after Kris Letang, saying off-handedly that the Philadelphia Flyers forward was "picking on a guy who had a stroke. Wayne Rooney Jersey ." In the third period of Saturdays game, Hartnell hit Letang, who was playing his second game back after suffering a stroke in January. Each player was given a two-minute minor for roughing as they mixed it up after the whistle. After the Flyers 4-3 overtime win, Bylsma was asked if – even though doctors assured the team and the 26-year-old defenceman that hockey would not put him more at risk for another stroke – he had a little pause seeing Hartnell and Letang shoving each other. "I did have that thought when that was going on there," said Bylsma. "(Letang) kind of had the play there and the puck on his skate to try to score a goal. It fell off his stick and the whistle and everything ensued after that. Yeah it does, a guy picking on a guy who had a stroke." A team spokeswoman said Bylsma was joking when he made that remark. Told of Bylsmas comment regarding Hartnell without the benefit of much context, Flyers coach Craig Berube fired back. "Then he shouldnt play," Berube said. "He shouldnt be out there playing, bottom line. Its a stupid comment." Letang, who scored 10 minutes later, said its "part of the game." "I got hit from behind, I turn around and it was him," Letang said. "I was not really shocked. but things happen in the game fast. I dont regret (it)." Hartnell declined comment through a team spokesman. Letang and Hartnell have something of a history dating to an Oct. 8, 2009 incident in which the Penguins defenceman accused the Flyers forward of biting his right ring finger. NOTE – Flyers goaltender Steve Mason left the game with what the team called an upper-body injury, which resulted from being crashed into by two players. Penguins forward Jayson Megna pushed Flyers defenceman Andrew MacDonald into Mason at the 16:27 mark of the second period, and the goalies head snapped back and then appeared to hit the ice. Mason remained in the game until the intermission, but then Ray Emery replaced him to start the third. Berube said Mason was being taken out as a precaution and expects him to be ready for Game 1 of Philadelphias first-round playoff series against the New York Rangers on Thursday. Marcus Rashford Jersey . Ronaldo netted his 14th goal of the season in Europes top competition to give Madrid a clear advantage ahead of next weeks quarterfinal return leg in Germany. But it came at a price as the Portugal forward, who came into the first-leg nursing a sore left knee, came off in the 80th minute. Kyle Walker Jersey .com) - Pittsburgh Steelers running back LeVeon Bell, Baltimore Ravens linebacker Elvis Dumervil and New England Patriots punter Ryan Allen were selected as the AFCs top players for Week 14 of the NFL season.ABBOTSFORD, B.C. - Blair Jones scored the winning goal in the Abbotsford Heats 2-1 victory over the San Antonio Rampage on Tuesday in American Hockey League action. Jones now has four goals in his past three games. Markus Granlund also scored for Abbotsford (8-4-1) and has three goals in his past four games. Joni Ortio made 23 saves, picking up his fourth-straight win since Reto Berra was called up by the Calgary Flames. The Heat were coming off a 3-0-0 Eastern road trip. John Lee scored for San Antonio (4-6-0), who had a two-game win streak snapped. Michael Houser stopped 23 shots. Abbotsford got a two-man advantage with less than two minutes to go in the first. Corban Knights one-timer slap shot from the point was deflected by Grandlund over Housers shoulder, giving him two goals on the year. Mark Cundari thought he had made it 2-0 two minutes into the second, but his goal was immediately waved off because a Heat player pushed a Rampage defender into the goaltender. The Rampage tiedd the game at 14:02 of the second. Gary Cahill Jersey. Lees wrist shot from the point found its way through two sets of legs, giving the defenceman his first on the year. That came in his third game this season after scoring just once in 50 games in his rookie campaign. Houser came up big for his team five minutes into the third period, first stopping Ben Street on a breakaway and then getting a toe on Max Reinharts shot from the slot, to keep the game tied 1-1. Not to be outdone, Ortio made a pair of athletic saves around the eight minute mark, including a toe save on Vincent Trocheck from the slot. Jones scored his goal at 13:28 while the Heat had another two-man advantage. Tyler Wotherspoon teed up a one-timer slap shot for Jones, who beat Houser top corner for his fourth of the season. The game featured four five-on-three power plays — three for the Heat — and 20 total infractions whistled. Abbotsford went 2 for 8, while the Rampage were 0 for 7 on the power play. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

The NBA posted a picture on its Twitter account Saturday of Silver holding a basketball and shaking hands with outgoing commissioner David Stern. "Its official: Adam Silver succeeds David Stern as NBA Commissioner" the caption read. Stern retired after exactly 30 years in charge, making him the NBAs longest-serving and most successful commissioner. Silver joined the NBA as his assistant in 1992 and has been the deputy commissioner since 2006. "It is a source of great satisfaction to me that the NBA will now be led by Commissioner Adam Silver, for whom I have tremendous admiration, respect and expectations as he and his experienced and dedicated team take the NBA to successes that were unimaginable even a short while ago," Stern wrote Friday in a thank you email to media members. Stern announced he would retirre on Oct. Joe Mixon Jersey. 25, 2012, and owners unanimously chose Silver as his successor. The NBA will now begin using balls with Silvers signature in games. Like Stern, Silver left the legal field to join the NBA. Originally Sterns special assistant, he went on to become NBA Chief of Staff before running NBA Entertainment for about a decade before replacing Russ Granik as deputy commissioner in 2006. Silver was the leagues lead negotiator during the 2011 collective bargaining negotiations and seemed to be more Sterns partner than deputy in recent years. "Its been Davids show. Even up to the last meeting. But there has never been a question whether Adam was involved in every important decision," Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban wrote in an email. The leagues owners unanimously approved longtime league executive Mark Tatums appointment as deputy commissioner this week. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

And like the near entirety of last season, Jonathan Bernier and Torontos goaltending tandem is up to the task.MALABO, Equatorial Guinea - With the opening-match jitters behind them, all four teams in Group B of the African Cup of Nations are looking to set themselves apart from the rest.Tunisia and Cape Verde, considered to be the strongest teams in the group, made sure that neither managed to gain an edge in the group standings with a 1-1 draw on Sunday. The first game is always difficult, said Tunisia coach George Leekens, whose team took a late lead before allowing an even later equalizer. Everyone is a favourite at this moment. We will concentrate on the next games.Tunisias next chance to earn three points will be against 2012 African Cup champion Zambia on Thursday at the new stadium in Ebebiyin. The Zambians also allowed a second-half equalizer in their 1-1 draw with Congo on Sunday.Although Zambia won the title only three years ago, the team has brought in several new players. And the coach who led them to victory, Herve Renard, is in charge of Ivory Coast. But an opening draw, coming after Given Singuluma gave Zambia the lead in only the second minute, was a positive start. The most important thing is we did nott lose the game, Zambia coach Honour Janza said. Medhi Benatia Jersey. The first game is full of nerves, and we have learned one or two things. . We will use it as a steppingstone for the other matches. Both group games will be at the same stadium in Ebebiyin, a small city in the northeastern corner of Equatorial Guinea near the borders with Cameroon and Gabon. The 5,000-seat stadium, carved out of dense jungle, was hastily readied for the tournament, and the recently laid turf took a beating on Sunday. They do their best, Congo captain Youssouf Mulumbu said of the countrys preparations for the tournament. If we want to be in better conditions, we need to go past this group stage.Cape Verde, which reached the quarterfinals two years ago, will take on Congo in the second match. On Sunday, Cape Verde converted a 77th-minute penalty to equalize against Tunisia. Keeping his team focused for the full 90 minutes against Congo will be a priority for Cape Verde coach Rui Aguas this time.We were better in the first half, and had good possession of the ball, Aguas said. We lost some concentration and Tunisia scored. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

CHARLOTTE, N. Ricky Vaughn Jersey .C. - Third-string point guard Jannero Pargo scored 16 points in the fourth quarter as the Charlotte Hornets rallied for a 99-97 preseason victory over the Orlando Magic on Monday night.Pargo, pushed into action after starter Kemba Walker came out of the game in the third quarter with a left knee contusion, hit 6 of 10 shots, including a pair of 3-pointers, as the Hornets rallied from a five-point deficit.Al Jefferson added 20 points, and had a key block on Elfrid Paytons layup attempt that would have tied the score. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist had 14 point, Walker 11 and Gary Neal 10 for Charlotte, which won its second straight exhibition game.Ben Gordon scored 17 points for the Magic. Tobias Harris and Payton had 14 each while Nikola Vucevic added 10 as Orlando lost for the first time in three preseason games. Satchel Paige Jersey . No pretty goals on this night, just get to the front of the net and fight for a chance. Yan Gomes Jersey .A. Dickey earned an American League Gold Glove on Tuesday to become the first Toronto Blue Jays pitcher to win the award.GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Michael Frazier II scored 14 points, highly touted freshman Chris Walker had two crowd-pleasing dunks in his debut and No. 3 Florida beat Missouri 68-58 on Tuesday night. The Gators won their 14th consecutive game and extended a school record with their 28th straight victory at home. Frazier came up huge in the latest one. The sophomore drained three 3-pointers in a 2-minute span in the second half, giving Florida some breathing room in a tight, back-and-forth game. Patric Youngs driving layup with 4:10 remaining gave the Gators (20-2, 9-0 Southeastern Conference) a 58-48 lead. Missouris 3-point shooting kept the Tigers (16-6, 4-5) in it for much of the game. Missouri made 8 of 21 from behind the arc, but just 4 of 13 in the second half. The Tigers went more than 4 minutes without a point, a stretch that helped Florida build its biggest lead. Jabari Brown led the Tigers with 15 points while Jordan Clarkson added 14. Scottie Wilbekin finished with a career-high 19 points for the Gators. He was 13 of 16 from the free throw line, most of them down the stretch. Young chipped in 13 points and six rebounds. Florida coach Billy Donovan notched his 16th consecutive 20-win season. Only Syracuses Jim Boeheim and Dukes Mike Krzyzewski have longer active streaks. Donovans current team has some issues – shaky free throw shooting and few long-range threats outside Frazier – but the addition of Walker could increase Floridas chances of making another deep run in the NCAAA tournament. Francisco Lindor Jersey. . A forward from Bonifay in Floridas panhandle, Walker sat out 12 games, or 40 per cent of the season, because the NCAA determined he "received preferential treatment from five people, including two agents." The NCAA said Walker and people close to him accepted free cellphones and service, airfare, lodging, meals and apparel while he was a prospect. He was ordered to donate the $270 received from the agents to a charity of his choice and serve 80 hours of community service. Walker, who failed to qualify academically and spent the fall taking online classes to gain eligibility, joined the team Dec. 14 and has been practicing since. His debut had been much-anticipated. Walker, who drew oohs and aahs with every move during pregame warm-ups, entered the game to a standing ovation with 11:28 remaining in the first half. His first few minutes on the court gave Florida fans even more to celebrate. Walker blocked two shots and pulled down a rebound in just 3 minutes. There was some obvious confusion, especially on the defensive end, but he showed surprising poise considering all the hype, the wait, the atmosphere and the opponent. He was even better in his second stint. Walker had two thunderous dunks in the final 2:07 of the half, finishing alley-oops from fellow freshman Kasey Hill. The second one had the OConnell Center rocking – but just briefly. Brown hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer a few seconds later, giving Missouri a 28-25 lead. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From ChinaCheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

McIlroy made two eagles and three birdies on the back nine at Muirfield Village – along with a double bogey – on his way to a 9-under 63 and a three-shot lead Thursday after the opening round of the Memorial. A week ago, McIlroy began his week at Wentworth by announcing he and tennis star Caroline Wozniacki had broken off their engagement. Then, he went out and won the BMW Championship for his strongest win in more than two years. At the Memorial, McIlroy caught his spikes in the turf on his second shot at the seventh hole and felt pain the rest of the round, especially when he had to put a little extra pop into tee shots or long irons. He was limping when he walked off the stage after talking about how he made five birdies and two eagles after hurting his knee. It was the lowest opening round in 39 years at the Memorial. "I dont think its anything more than just being confident with my game," McIlroy said. "I was expecting this to happen. Ive been playing well. Ive been posting good numbers, good rounds. And I knew my game was close. And honestly, I dont think its anything to do with whats happening off the golf course. Its just Ive been trending in the right direction, and its starting to all come together." Masters champion Bubba Watson, Chris Kirk and Paul Casey each had a 66 while playing in calmer and slightly softer morning conditions. Keegan Bradley was at 67, notable not because it was his best score at Muirfield Village but because it was his first time in his four years on the PGA Tour that he did not use a belly putter. Adam Scott, who won at Colonial last week in his debut at No. 1 in the world, lost momentum with a shot into the water for double bogey on No. 9, and he missed some birdie and eagle chances on the back nine that would have allowed him to stay close with McIlroy. He settled for a 69. Phil Mickelson also looked sharp – at least for 15 holes. He was at 5 under after a birdie on the 15th hole – at the time, just one shot out of the lead. But he hit into the water on the par-3 16th and did well to escape with bogey. He came up short on the 17th and muffed two flops shots on his way to double bogey. And he finished with another double bogey by three-putting tthe 18th. Allen Bailey Jersey. That gave him a 72. "Just threw away a good round," Mickelson said. Canadian Mike Weir finished the day at 1-over 73. The course began to get firm under a hot sun late in the afternoon, which didnt appear to bother McIlroy. Jordan Spieth picked up birdies on the par 5s, had a good par save on the 16th and squeezed out a 69 that left him pleased. "Anything under par is a good score," Spieth said. "Obviously, Rory didnt think that." McIlroy was more than nine shots better than the field average. His only scare came on the seventh hole when his spikes caught and applied a little more torque on his knee. McIlroy said he had never experienced that before, though he felt some ice and work in the fitness trailer should take care of it. "The inside of it is sore, a little swollen," McIlroy said. "Some treatment and I should be fine for the morning." The golf after that was simply spectacular. From the deep rough right of the 10th fairway, he hammered a shot to the middle of the green and it caught a slope and settled 4 feet away. He hit 4-iron to 25 feet on the par-5 11th and holed a 25-foot birdie putt in the centre of the cup. He holed a tough 15-foot birdie on the 13th, and then hit a towering 5-iron to 15 feet on the par-5 15 for another eagle. McIlroy picked up his final birdie with a 12-foot birdie after a great tee shot to the deceptively tough front pin on the par-3. He finished his round with an 8-foot putt to save par from the bunker. His only blunder came on the 14th when he tugged a wedge too hard and too far left into a plugged lie in the bunker. He played well away from the flag to avoid going down the slope and into the water, but left it in the sand. His next shot had to be good to get within 6 feet of the flag, and it wasnt. The ball ran off the green and down a slope. He had to get up-and-down for a double bogey. McIlroy answered by smashing another tee shot into the fairway and hitting that high 5-iron onto the green for eagle, erasing the double bogey. Its just one round, but considering it was McIlroy, it was an attention-getter. McIlroy is one of those players who can follow up a win with more great play. When he won the PGA Championship by eight shots in 2012, that was the start of three victories in four starts against the strongest fields of the year. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '
